@@shogun...... I'd say 1800 - 2000 euro max for a perfect functioning one but they are hard to come by. Trimpots are also notoriously sensitive but when functioning perfect the SRM 1 is up with the best monosynths.

@shogun...... Never played one but I'm a huge fan of the ssm filter that's on the SRM 1 and II. About the price, it really is what it's worth for you.

This is an AMAZING pierce of synth music. I am 61 years old just today - this has brought me near to tears a it takes me back to when I was 15 and had these sounds burned into my brain. WELL DONE man! Do it AGAIN and make it longer. Cant say enough about this one.
awesome. i just bought one few days ago. now am wondering if it is worth to buy more of them for polyphony with polychaining. really like the sound of it.
I got 5 of them at the moment 😁 they have a nice buzzy tone that fits quite well with polyphonic patches and are relatively easy to program. Definitely worth it to try a second one!

Amazing sounds! This Yamaha has only 4 OPs but sounds nothing like OPN2 from Megadrive/Genesis which also has 4 OPs or OPL2 or OPL3 known from PC sound cards. More like even better than OPM chip which also had 4 OP and used reduced calculation precision but at least did the right calculations. Myself have Volca FM (100% compatible with DX7 - OPS/EGM chips) and tinkering with patches is a blast. Didn't make my own patches from scratch yet but I can already see I will do it.

I can nail this on my Buchla 200. It nails the hi-hat, too.
For the complete Patch add the Sequencer Voltage into the Ring Modulator Ch.B (Pin at F16) and Noise to Ring Mod Ch.A (Pin at E7) then add Two Pins at Ring Mod Out (B13 & C13) Set Ring Mod Level at 8.
After all these years... I've remembered it .And I have found it ! This was was haunting back in the days when I was feeling music as I am tonight ! I have listened to a lot of analog synth demos over the years , but this remains one of my favorites !Thank you Zaphyd .
